Your data stays on your device

BillPhoto AI runs entirely in your browser. Every bill you add — the photo, the vendor, the amounts, the items, the warranty and return dates — is saved only in your own browser's localStorage, on the device you are using. There is no account system and no server behind this app, so your bills are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Bill photos

When you upload or take a photo of a bill, it is read and stored locally. The image is not transmitted anywhere. The details are filled in on your device.

What we collect

Nothing personal. We do not collect your name, phone number, email, spending or any bill data. We have no way of seeing what you keep in BillPhoto AI.

Advertising

BillPhoto AI is free and may show ads through Google AdSense to support development. Google may use cookies to serve ads; you can review and change this in your Google Ad Settings. Advertisers have no access to your bills, which never leave your device.

Backups you create

The "Backup data" option in Settings downloads a JSON file to your device. That file is yours — keep it somewhere safe, since anyone holding it can read your bills. Restoring a backup replaces whatever is currently stored in your browser.

Clearing your data

You can erase everything at any time using "Clear all data" in Settings. Clearing your browser's site data, or uninstalling the app, also removes your BillPhoto AI data permanently. Because nothing is stored on a server, deleted data cannot be recovered by us.

Children

This app is a general-purpose expense and warranty tracker and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
