A free trip expense splitter for Indian travellers
TripSplit is a simple, Splitwise-style expense splitter made just for trips. Create a trip for your Goa weekend, family vacation, college tour or office offsite, add everyone who's going, then log each expense — hotel, food, taxi, train, flight, fuel, shopping, tickets and activities — and choose who paid. TripSplit splits each cost equally, between selected members, by custom amounts or by percentage, then works out who owes whom with the fewest payments and lets you share the settlement on WhatsApp. It runs entirely in your browser — no sign-up, no server — and works offline after the first load.
Your trip details never leave your device. Everything you enter is saved only in this browser's local storage.

Frequently asked questions
Is TripSplit free and private?
Yes. It is completely free and works without an account. Your trips, members and expenses are stored only in your browser on this device and are never uploaded.
How does the settlement work?
TripSplit adds up what each person paid and what their fair share is, then matches the people who are owed money with those who owe it — using the fewest possible transfers so everyone settles up quickly.
Can I split unequally?
Yes. Per expense you can split equally, between only the members who shared it, by exact custom amounts, or by percentage.
Will it work without internet?
After the first load TripSplit works offline, so you can add expenses during the trip even with no signal. Install it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
