Your data stays on your device
WarrantyBox is a 100% client-side app. Every product, bill image, warranty, repair record and setting you enter is saved only in your own browser's localStorage, on the device you are using. It is never sent to us or any server, because WarrantyBox has no backend and no account system.
What we collect
Nothing personal. We do not collect your products, bills, contacts or any data. We cannot see what you store in WarrantyBox.
Bill photos & PDFs
Bill images and PDFs you attach are stored inside your browser on this device. Very large files may not save due to browser storage limits, so always keep a copy of your original bills. Use Backup (JSON) to keep your own copy of everything.
WhatsApp & calls
The WhatsApp and call buttons simply open WhatsApp or your phone dialler with a ready-made message or number that you send/dial yourself. Nothing is sent automatically, and no WhatsApp API is used.
Advertising
WarrantyBox is free and may show ads via Google AdSense to support development. Google may use cookies to serve ads, which you can manage in your Google Ad Settings. Ads cannot access your data, which never leaves your device.
Clearing data
You can wipe everything any time with "Clear all data". Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app also removes your WarrantyBox data permanently.
