The short version
Sakhi keeps your health data on your device. Every date, period log, flow and note you enter is saved in your browser's local storage on the device you are using. It is never sent to any server, we have no account system, and we cannot see your data.
What data Sakhi stores, and where
- Your cycle settings — last period start date, average cycle length and period length.
- Your logs — the dates of periods you log, the flow level (light / medium / heavy) and any optional note or symptom you type.
- A theme preference — whether you chose light or dark mode.
All of the above is stored using your browser's localStorage feature on your own device. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no login, no sync and no cloud backup. If you open Sakhi on a different device or browser, your data will not be there, because it never left the first one.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number or account details — there is no sign-up.
- We do not upload, transmit or store your period dates, logs or notes on any server.
- We do not sell or share your health information, because we do not have it.
Advertising and cookies
Sakhi is supported by a small ad on some pages, served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. These cookies are used by Google, not by Sakhi, and they do not have access to the period data stored in your browser's local storage. You can learn more and manage your choices at Google's Ads Privacy page, and control cookies through your browser settings.
How to clear your data
You are always in control:
- Use the "Clear all data" button on the tracker page to instantly delete all your Sakhi data from this device.
- You can also clear your browser's site data / local storage for this site through your browser settings.
- Uninstalling the app (if you added it to your home screen) and clearing site data removes everything.
Children
Sakhi is intended for general use and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, as it stores nothing on a server.

Changes to this policy
