Frequently asked questions
Is TaxiTrip free and private?
Yes. It is completely free and works without an account. Your trips and customers are stored only in your browser on this device and are never uploaded.
How is the fare calculated?
Total KM × rate per km, or your minimum fare (whichever is higher), or a fixed base/package fare if you enter one. Then toll, parking, tax, allowance and other charges are added and discount/advance applied.
Does WhatsApp sharing need an API?
No. TaxiTrip opens WhatsApp with a ready-made trip bill message to the customer — you just press send.
Will it work without internet?
After the first load TaxiTrip works offline. Install it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
