OverlayV — social overlays, chat bubbles and creator graphics
OverlayV is a free overlay creator that runs entirely in your browser. Pick one of 80 editable templates — a chat bubble, a social comment, a phone notification, a ₹ price tag, a review card, a music player, a “follow for more” badge — change the words and colours, drag the pieces where you want them, and export a transparent PNG you can drop straight onto a reel, a story, a thumbnail or a product photo.
There is no sign-up, no watermark on your exports and nothing to install. Every design is drawn on your own device and saved there, which is why it keeps working when your connection does not.

How to use OverlayV
- Choose a template. Search by what you want — “price”, “comment”, “notification” — or browse the eight categories. Star the ones you use often and they collect under Favourites.
- Edit the content. Click any element to select it. Text, colours, fonts, corner radius, borders, shadows and opacity are all in the Properties panel. Avatars take a photo from your device.
- Arrange it. Drag to move, pull the handles to resize, and use the handle above the box to rotate. Elements snap to the canvas centre, the edges and to each other; hold Alt to place something freely. Arrow keys nudge by one pixel, Shift and an arrow by ten.
- Combine overlays. Press + Add Overlay and pick another template — it is added to the canvas as new layers instead of replacing your work. A comment, a follow badge and a price tag can live in one composition.
- Export. Choose 1×, 2× or 4× and download a PNG, or copy it straight to the clipboard. Use Fit canvas to design first if you want the file trimmed tight to the artwork.
About the transparent PNG
A transparent export is the whole point of an overlay, so it is worth knowing exactly what comes out. The editor and the exported file are drawn by the same code, at different sizes — so the PNG matches the preview rather than approximating it. The grey checkerboard behind your design belongs to the editor only, and so do the selection box, the handles and the safe-area guides; none of them exist in the file. Rounded corners, shadows, gradients, photos and Unicode text all survive at 2× and 4×, which is what you want when the overlay has to stay sharp on a 1080-wide reel.
If your canvas has a solid, gradient or photo background, you can still tick Transparent background in the export dialog to leave it out of that one file without changing your design.

Is OverlayV really free?
Yes — every template and every export, with no account and no watermark.
Where are my designs saved?
In your own browser's storage on this device, under My Designs. They are not on a server, so they will not appear on your other phone or laptop — and clearing site data for appsbyv.in removes them.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. A photo you add is read by the browser and stays on the device. OverlayV has no upload endpoint at all.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes — the editor and every template keep working with no connection. Fonts for Indian scripts are fetched the first time they are used, so grab those while you are online.
Can I use the exports commercially?
Yes. What you design is yours to use for your shop, your channel or your client work.
Why does my text look different in Hindi or Bengali?
Those scripts are drawn with the matching Noto font, which is downloaded when you first pick it. Give it a moment on a slow connection and the text will re-render correctly.
